“I took a laptop that had suffered atrocities at the hands of another tech to Stephen at the Laptop Repair Hut in Bolton. Service was immediately efficient, but patient. I was given a receipt with a tracking QR that saves ringing him up for updates, but I didn't need to use it because he kept me informed, and completed the repair in less than two days. I could tell Stephen what the original fault was, but who knows what happened to the machine since then, so it wasn't a simple fix. What also impressed me is that he listened sympathetically to the plight of my laptop without ever crossing into unprofessional bitching! He's also ridiculously cheap. Seriously. Fixing machines like this is probably more voodoo than science, and he's very skilled. I had a wobbly key that I hadn't got around to fixing and he sorted it without being asked (thank you, Stephen!). Not a reflection on the business, but be aware that buildings in this location are generally not easily accessible - it's a steep step up into the shop.”
